Yes. All reservations require payment in advance to guarantee and secure your booking. Unfortunately, we cannot hold rooms, dorm beds, camping sites or activities without payment. Once payment has been received, your reservation will be confirmed and held for your arrival.

Yes. Deposits are fully refundable provided that cancellations are made more than 24 hours before your scheduled arrival date and time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before arrival may result in all or part of the deposit being forfeited. If you need to modify or cancel a reservation, please contact Marion as soon as possible so we can assist you.

When booking dormitory accommodation, the "Adults" selector does not control the number of beds reserved. Instead, you must click the "Book Now" button once for each dorm bed you would like to reserve. For example, if three guests are staying in a dormitory room, you must add three separate beds to your booking. If you encounter any difficulties, please contact our reservations team for assistance.

Yes. Many guests choose to book accommodation together with their activities to ensure availability. Kruger Park Hostel offers a variety of experiences including Kruger National Park safaris, Panorama Route tours, Eswatini cultural tours and camping safaris. Activities can be booked separately through our activities page, and we recommend booking popular safaris in advance, particularly during school holidays and peak tourism seasons.

Standard check-in time is from 2:00 PM. However, we understand that travel plans do not always fit standard schedules. If you expect to arrive earlier or later than normal, please let us know in advance. Subject to room availability and operational requirements, we can often make alternative arrangements to accommodate your travel plans.

Standard check-out time is 10:00 AM. Guests requiring a later departure should contact us before arrival whenever possible. Depending on occupancy levels and room availability, we may be able to arrange a late check-out. Advance notice gives us the best opportunity to assist you.

No. To secure and confirm your booking, payment must be made in advance. Reservations are only guaranteed once payment has been received. This policy helps us manage availability effectively and ensures that your room, dormitory bed or campsite is reserved exclusively for your arrival.

Yes. Kruger Park Hostel can assist with several transfer options. A daily shuttle service operates between OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg and Marloth Park. We also offer transfers from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (MQP) in Mbombela/Nelspruit and from Skukuza Airport within Kruger National Park. Transfer availability, schedules and rates may vary, so please contact Marion at Marion@KrugerParkHostel.com for current information and reservations.

Yes. Breakfast and dinner are included with your stay at Kruger Park Hostel. Guests can enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading out on safari or exploring the surrounding attractions, while dinner provides a relaxed opportunity to unwind and share travel experiences with fellow guests. If you have any dietary requirements, allergies, or special meal requests, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

When booking more then one dorm bed, you need to click the "Book" botton, the number of times you would like to book beds (The "Adults" selector does not work for dorm rooms).

When trying to use a voucher, you need to select the dates first, then press "Search", then enter your voucher number, then click "Book". If the discount is not reflected in the "reservation summary", you will need to refresh the page and enter the details in the sequence mentioned above.
