Dune Beach Hostel – Calanga, Mozambique
Dune Beach Hostel is hidden behind the dunes on a very secluded and untouched section of Mozambique’s coastline. This is not a busy resort town — it’s a wild, quiet beach escape where the soundtrack is wind, waves, and the occasional crackle of a fire.
The best part? The adventure starts before we even get there. After crossing into Mozambique, we head off the main roads and drive through dunes and along the beach — a true overland journey that feels like a mini-expedition. By the time we arrive, you already feel far away from everything.
