Do Buffalo have good memories?

An elephant may not forget, as the old saying goes, but a buffalo is known to never forgive. Buffalo have been documented attacking people who have hurt them many years after the event has taken place.

The behemoths also sometimes kill lion cubs as preventative punishment. That said, they are not always grumps. Buffalo cuddle and groom each other-a practice uncommon among African ruminants.
