Are there black leopards in the Kruger Park?

The gene for melanism, the opposite of albinism, is actually recessive and, to produce a black leopard, extensive inbreeding would be necessary. Seen at an oblique angle, black specimens still show faint spots and rosettes. None have been observed in the Kruger Park.
